Pinellas ACS now at Activation Level 2 MOBILZE

Pinellas ACS has received an activation notice (Partial Activation – Level 2) from Pinellas County Emergency Management. The activation is due to Potential Tropical Cyclone #9. We have been asked to staff the EOC Radio Room starting tomorrow morning (September 24th) at 0700. This a day shift only. No Evening shift is currently planned for Tuesday. We anticipate that ACS will begin staffing the EOC radio room full time staring Wednesday morning. Specific information about shelters has not yet been released; however, everyone should begin preparations for potential shelter deployment.

Remember, do not self deploy. The leadership team is currently working to determine the number ACS volunteers needed to support this activation.
