PinCo ACS PACE Plan

Pinellas County ACS PACE Communications Plan

The primary, alternate, contingency, and emergency (PACE) Communications Plan is a communications plan that defines the order in which an organization will move through available communications systems when trying to establish contact with a desired distant user or service. It establishes a well-defined process for selecting and implementing a backup communications channel. Its primary objective is to establish redundancy so that some means of communications are always available.

A separate PACE Communications Plan is created for each unique communications mission that an organization is required to support. Each mission will have a unique user or service that the organization is required to communicate with. For each user or service, separate missions will also be created for each type of information exchanged (i.e., Voice or Data).
