SURVIAL
Pinellas County ARES like the Marine Corps, are Looking for “Good Men &
Women” to mentor newly licensed
Emergency Radio
Communicators who will help man the disaster
centers in their own community
Shelters.
The HAMS (the Mentors)
Sites will be equipped with a mobile radio,
earphones, an antenna, a battery & charger, log books, office supplies,
Free meals and, Best of all…provided with an
opportunity to support emergency services in their own communities,
especially those of you who already need to go to a shelter. Senior HAMS are requested ASAP to log in
and update the database on line at aresdb.ab2m.net and sign up to man your
shelter. Anyone who is a radio
enthusiast will get free training and amateur licenses by contacting Neil
